INCA PACIFIC RESOURCES SELECTS PANDESA SHAREVAULT™ FOR DUE DILIGENCE DOCUMENT SHARING FOR THE MAGISTRAL PROJECT IN PERU
Canadian mineral exploration company praises ShareVault’s ease-of-use, rapid setup, speed and ability to handle very large files
San Jose, CA, October 25, 2007 — Pandesa Corporation recently announced that Inca Pacific Resources (www.incapacific.com) is using Pandesa’s ShareVault™ on-demand virtual deal room to securely share documents during the due diligence process in connection with its Magistral Copper-Molybdenum project in Peru.
“Having been selected by Inca Pacific Resources for this application requiring high-speed access to very large mine models is further confirmation of the confidence our customers have in the speed and capability of the ShareVault platform” said Richard Andersen, CEO of Pandesa Corporation.
Due diligence documents on-demand from a secure web-based platform
ShareVault™, an on-demand web-based virtual deal room, was developed for securely sharing deal-related documents during due diligence. Teams from both sides of the deal are able to securely share deal-related content. Entirely web-based, ShareVault allows users to login and securely access content via a web browser.
High Speed Access to Large Files
Geological data often includes large data files such as deposit models, maps and engineering drawings, in addition to standard file formats such as PDF, Word, Excel, etc. ShareVault’s ability to provide fast upload and download speeds as well as the robust and secure data transfer protocol, allow customers to provide fast, reliable file access, especially important for virtual data rooms in the resource and energy sectors.
High-Grade Security and Reliability
Security features include 128-bit encryption, document-level access control, PDF rights management and audit trail capabilities. ShareVault is delivered from a SAS-70 part II compliant data center, with hardware and infrastructure redundancy, to ensure the high-grade reliability needed for critical deals. In addition, Pandesa ShareVault is backed with a comprehensive security model, incorporating policies and procedures based on industry best practices.
Ease-of-Use
Inca Pacific cited ShareVault’s straightforward setup and configuration, the ease of searching for specific content, as well as the use of the industry-standard PDF format for secure document sharing as important factors in their selection of ShareVault.
“We were impressed at how quickly we had the ShareVault site up-and-running” said Ward Kilby of Cal Data Ltd., administrator of the Magistral virtual data room. “This project required a secure, easy-to-use virtual data room that could handle large files easily. We’ve been using the system now for 8 months, and it has been smooth sailing the whole way, including the superb support from Pandesa”.
“The alternative to our VDR would have been a physical data room with the associated travel costs or numerous versions of data DVDs being sent around the world. ShareVault has provided us with superior data control and our potential joint venture partners with simplified data access” said Anthony Floyd, CEO of Inca Pacific.
ShareVault™ capabilities
Documents are uploaded via a high-speed, encrypted connection by dragging and dropping multiple files and/or entire folders. For paper documents, secure scanning services are also available with turnaround times of a few days. Documents uploaded to the ShareVault are automatically converted to PDF with support for more than 300 file types including Microsoft Word®, Excel®, PowerPoint®, Project®, Visio® and hundreds of others. ShareVault™ contents are organized via a tag-based structure, supporting a flexible organization of the content according to the due-diligence list. Customizable access control assures that each document is available only to users with appropriate privileges. ShareVault also features a tightly integrated full-text search engine, visual content browsing and in-place editing of tags and permissions. Detailed activity tracking and reporting are also included, providing a permanent record of who has seen what documents and when.
Positive Customer Feedback

Our growing customer base is affirmation that ShareVault’s speed, intuitive search-based user interface and rock solid security / reliability are just what the market has been wanting for this important aspect of the due diligence process”, said John Badger, VP of Marketing and Product Management.
